Air Vehicle, Variable Buoyancy

Designed by AEROS, this lighter or heavier then air vehicle is capable of carrying 66-tons of cargo. There are several design iterations for various industry’s transportation needs, including: military, commercial & wind energy. The air craft has a rigid aero-shell and internal ballast control system that allows for vertical take off and landing. The vehicle also needs very little maintenance, can be stored outside and requires no runway. In addition it can hover while offloading or or on-loading! The ML 866 has a cruise speed of 120 knots with a maximum altitude of 12,000ft-16,000ft – with a range of 3,800 nautical miles. The aeroscraft uses about 33% less fuel then conventional cargo carrying jets offering noiseless – low pollution operation. For more information visit the Aeroscraft Website »
