Electric Car Range Extender

A company called EBuggy (Nomadic Power) has developed a range extender for battery powered autombiles.  The plan would be to have these extenders located at various rest stops so drivers could pick up or drop off the trailers as they drive across country. The hope is to deliver a range extender that will allow electric cars to drive non-stop for 300 miles. Visit the Ebuggy website nomadic-power.com

How does it work

  • Drive with the battery of your electric car in the city.
  • Hitch up an Nomadic Power rolling battery at the first highway service station and drive with the electric energy of the Nomadic Power range extender.
  • Return the Nomadic Power at a service station in your destination area.
  • Drive with your electric car battery in your destination area.
